INSTALLATION
I
nstallation consists of installing the module in the equipment
shelf and connecting your equipment to the RS-232
connector(s).
1. Install the module in the equipment shelf.
2. Connect your equipment to the RS-232 connector(s).
Table A and Fig. 3 show the wiring of the RS-232 connectors to
the 56-pin card edge connector.
NOTE:
The 46090 front panel, the RS-232 jack sockets, and the
connector housings are neither connected to ground nor
isolated from ground. Do not use the front panel or any
component on the front panel for a test lead or equipment
ground. This produces intermittent or unpredictable results.
