Relubrication interval of the machine compared to rotation speed and bearing temperature
For more information about the location of grease nipples and grease escape holes, see
on page 15.
Bearing relubrication:
It is normal if no grease exits the electric machine. This is because the cavities inside the
electric machine can hold a lot of grease.
1. Make sure that the electric machine has reached its operating temperature.
2. Remove the plugs from the grease escape holes.
3. Open the grease nipple plugs.
4. Use grease piston to enter specific amount of grease into the grease nipple.
5. If possible, let the electric machine run approximately one hour to let the old grease exit.
6. Install the plugs on the grease nipples and on the grease escape holes.
Cooling system maintenance
It is recommended to change the direction of the coolant liquid flow yearly. This is done by changing the
order of the coolant connections, or changing the coolant pump direction. The reason for changing the
coolant flow direction is to prevent possible dregs (sediment) accumulating to the cooling system.
The quality of the coolant must be checked yearly. The mixture of coolant fluid must be according to
specification. See Chapter
