Maintenance
To preserve optimal performance and prevent mal-functions of the unit, it should be checked and maintainded
regularly. Certain maintenance tasks must only be performed by an authorized service technician.
Caution! Operation without water in water
tank may result in damage of auxiliary e-
heater. Due to such damage, the warranty is
not valid.
Caution! Water temperatures over 50°C can
cause severe, or even fatal, scalding injuries.

Maintenance tasks for service technicians
•
Check the connection between the power supply and the ground wiring regularly;
•
In cold areas (below 0°C), if the system is shut-off for a long time, water should be drained completely from the
unit to avoid the risk of freezing inside the inner tank. Freezing would possibly cause damage to the e-heater
or tank.
•
It is recommended to clean the inner tank and the e-heater regularly to keep an efficient performance.
•
Check the anode rod every half year and change it if it has been used out. For more details, contact the after-
sale service.
•
How to change the anode rod:
1.
Turn off the power, and turn off the water inlet valve.
2.
Open the hot water tap, and decrease the pressure of the inner container.
3.
Open the temperature pressure valve, and drain out the water, until there are no water flowing out of
the tank.
4.
Dismantle the anode rod according to instruction.
5.
Replace it with a new one, and make sure it is effectively sealed.
6.
Open the cold water valve until water flows out of the open hot water tap.
7.
Turn off the hot water tap.
8.
Restart the system.
