In the Danalock box
there’s 4 different
metal back plates.
A, B and C
is for
US deadbolt doors.
U
is for EURO and
SCANDI doors.
This is the one you
normally have to use
on European doors.
You can mount the
plate in two ways:
A: Place the back plate
on your door so the
tailpiece sticks out
from the center hole.
Break or cut the
cylinder-screws from
the Danalock package
so they fit the distance,
and fasten the back
plate to the cylinder.
Use the two
holes beneath
the center hole.(c)
Insert the cylinder you
chose, and re-insert
the lock-screw in the
mortisse-plate to fix
the cylinder. (b)
5. Insert the new cylinder

B: Insert one of the
screws that
originally held the
lock, and insert the
threaded tube from
the Danalock
package to extend
the second screw.
Now you can finally
fasten the second
screw on the outside
of the door.

of your Danalock.

To avoid damaging
the Danalock you
will have to shorten

It should only
