ASM-0025E - 212 Axle Service Manual

ASSEMBLY

FIGURE 19:

Lubricate the bushing (18) and the seat of the

steering case (3).
Install the bushing (18), using tool T1 (See drawing T1 p. 44).

FIGURE 20:

Lubricate the outer surface of the sealing ring

(17) and centering ring (16); fit them into their seat using tool
T2 (See drawing T2 p. 44).

FIGURE 21:

Fit the steering case (3) onto the U-joint (19) and

install the articulation pins.
For pin assembly details, see COMPLETE STEERING CASE
p. 25.
