Please note that with most SIP systems, outgoing calls cannot be made unless at
least one Dialling Rule is selected.
6.6.2 User Defined Rules
It is possible to define a set of rules to allow the IP Phone to recognise specific
numbers, regardless of the settings in 6.6.1. These rules are put into the Digital
Map Table.
End with ‘#’ Calls are placed after the # key is pressed. This is the
default setting for the device.
Fixed Length Calls must be a set number of digits long. Calls are
placed once a set number of digits have been entered.
Timeout Calls are placed after a set delay has elapsed. This is a
measurement, in seconds, for how long the phone
waits after a number has been entered before placing a
call.
