2.1 PRACTICE BEFORE OPERATING THE SCOOTER
Warning: Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the scooter or serious
injury. Practice before operating your scooter. It is very important that you completely read
and follow the information in the owner’s manual. Fully charge the batteries prior to using
the scooter. Find an open, safe area and have an assistant to help you practice until you have
confidence operating your scooter. Make sure that the power is off before getting into
or out of the seat. Set the speed control knob according to your driving ability. We
recommend that you keep the speed control at the slowly position until you are familiar
with the driving characteristics of this scooter.
This scooter is suitable for indoor use only
Consult your doctor if there is any doubt about your ability to use this scooter safety.
Drive on the pavement, single carriage roads, or pedestrian areas only.
DO NOT
drive on public roadways, streets or highways. This scooter is suitable for indoor use only.
DO NOT
drive the scooter off-road or on any uneven surfaced roads.
DO NOT
drive the scooter over soft, uneven or unprotected surface such as grass, gravel and decks.
DO NOT
drive the scooter beside a river, port or lake without a fence or railing.
DO NOT
make sudden stops, weave erratically, or make sharp turns.
DO NOT
drive the scooter when it is raining, snowing, icy, misty or windy.
Keep your arms on or inside the armrests and feet on the footrest at all times during operating.
DO NOT
attempt to climb curbs greater than 1.4”.
DO NOT
attempt to cross over a gap greater than 3”.
DO NOT
attempt to climb to cross a hill greater than 6 °.
DO NOT
put the scooter in freewheel when on an incline or decline.
DO NOT
get on and off on a hill. Always stop on the level surface to get in and get out of the scooter.
DO NOT
reverse the scooter while driving up a hill, forward only. If you reverse while moving up a
hill, it may cause the scooter to tip over.
Use low speed while driving down hill. Breaking while moving downhill, the scooter will take longer
to come to a complete stop.
DO NOT
drive the scooter at night.
DO NOT
carry any passengers (including children).
DO NOT
carry or haul goods.
DO NOT
use this scooter to carry or haul goods.
DO NOT
drive your scooter after consuming alcohol or when you are tired.
Always climb or descend gradients perpendicular to the slope or ramp.
Be extremely cautious when driving the scooter in shopping malls.
