4. Operating notes
A sensor that is integrated in the backwater closure responds to misting with water and closes the screw cap of the backwater closure with a shaft
that is operated by an electric motor. Even in the event of a power outage (e.g. thunderstorm), all safety functions are ensured for several days with an
integrated emergency power supply (battery).
In addition to the visual alarm, the Stausafe also has an audible alarm. Removing the water protection plug (10) can increase the volume of the
internal alarm.
Removing the plug will reduce the protection against water ingress into the electronics housing to IP 54!
Note:
There is an additional option to connect an external alarm to the potential-free contact. In the event of a malfunction of any kind, the audible alarm
will sound in 20 second intervals.
