12 Commissioning and Remote Login

Commissioning

After the startup is completed (up to approx. 5 minutes), the device is ready
for remote configuration via Ethernet.

The IP address of the device (default 192.168.2.230) can be changed
without login using the Dallmeier Device Manager (PService3) software.

Remote Login

In the basic state, remote login is possible with the serial number as pass-
word. The rights of the Administrator group are valid.

The connection is established, device information is displayed.

Connect the device to the network.

➡

Connect the device to the power supply.

➡

Switch on the device.

➡

Refer to the “Operation” documentation for

PService3.

➡

Select the device from the scanner list.

➡

Start the

NetConfig3

function via the context menu.
