The HDD is initialized and put into operation when the device is started for 
the first time.

Depending on the number and capacity of the installed hard disks, var-
ious messages and dialogs are displayed during the initial startup and 
initialization.

Confirm the messages if necessary.

Follow the instructions given in the dialogs.

 

➡

Observe the corresponding “Configuration” documentation.

 

➡

Load the “Default system parameters” as the first step of the config-
uration.
