The red Error LED is lit.
The menu of the recorder is
distorted after a power
failure or restart. The
keyboard for the password
prompt is not distorted.
After setting a filter during
playback, you receive a
"Please wait" message and
nothing happens.
The search result is
negative for a picture search
using filters.
The recordings show black
bars, the picture may be
"cut up".
When Wavelet pictures are
converted to BMP format, no
date or time is visible.
Either a camera has failed or
a hard disk is defective.
Please contact the support
personnel if a hard disk is at
fault.
The grabber card was not
properly initialized due to a
system restart. Shut unit
down, wait approx. 2 minutes
and switch recorder back on.
It takes a certain amount of
time until all the hard disks
are searched. The larger the
hard disk capacity, the longer
the search.
No pictures were recorded
during the specified time.
Check whether any
recordings were made with
picture comparison with the
sensitivity too low or whether
the setting in the "Areas"
dialog is wrong. Check the
existing video signal.
If "cut up" pictures appear
sporadically in the
recordings, incorrect camera
synchronization is usually
responsible. Please check
the video signal of the
camera.
The date, time etc. are
written to the picture header
and are only visible when
viewing with
"ProcessViewer".
Both fault sources can be
localized by evaluating the
log file.
In general, you should wait
from 1 to 2 minutes between
shut down (switching off)
and restarting the system
when making changes which
require a system restart.
If a picture is converted and
edited with another program,
the header is overwritten.
