Both the amount and quality of the deep bass depend on the size and shape of the room, and the
position of the subwoofer(s) and main speakers. If positioned near a side or back wall, this will
accentuate the bass. A corner location will accentuate it even more. Experiment with different
positions to find which provides the ideal sound for you.
The BASIS 100 subwoofer has a bass port on the bottom side of the cabinet. Make sure, that the
airflow is not blocked as it will negatively change the amount of bass reproduced by the subwoofer.
C L E A N I N G A N D M A I N T E N A N C E
Clean the cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. If the cabinet is dirty, wipe with a soft cloth dipped in
all-purpose cleaner well wrung out. Be very careful when wiping the speaker cone, as it is
very fragile. The grille can be vacuumed and wiped with a well-wrung, lint-free cloth with mild
all-purpose cleaner.

The surfaces of the subwoofer are sensitive to sunlight which might cause fading over time.
To reduce fading, we recommend avoiding exposing the subwoofer to direct sunlight.
D I S P O S A L
If you want to dispose this product, do not mix it with general household waste. There is a
separate collection system for used electronic products in accordance with legislation that
requires proper treatment, recovery and recycling. Private households in the EU member states,
Switzerland and Norway may return their used electronic products free of charge to designated
collection facilities or to a retailer (if you purchase a similar new one). For countries not mentioned
above, please contact your local authorities for the correct method of disposal. By doing so, you
will ensure that your disposed product undergoes the necessary treatment, recovery and recycling
and thus prevent potential negative effects on the environment and human health.
