VIP 4500 Configuration Using V-Tour
®
Configuration of Angled Panels
Some customers may want some or all panels to be tilted without tilting the content. This
section guides users through the V-Tour
®
setup for angled configurations.
The first step in creating rotated V-Tour
®
configurations is to set the pixel size.
Note
: Daktronics cautions against changing pixel size manually due to the possibility of
picture degradation as V-Tour automatically adjusts pixel size.
1.
Navigate to the
Wiring
tab within the System page tab.
2.
Open the
Current
tab on the right side of the Wiring screen.
3.
Select the panel(s) to rotate. Information about the panel(s) appears in the Currently
Selected tab.
4.
Type the desired angle of rotation in the
Angle
field, located under Measurement in the
Current tab.
5.
Go to the menu bar and click
Tools
>
Set
Pixel
Size. Enter “1” in the Set Pixel Size text
box and click
OK
.
6.
Click
Send
to send the configuration to the display.
Adjusting Precision
Adjusting alignment precision ensures proper pixel size after rotation, eliminating
overlapping pixels.
1.
Open the Wiring tab in the System page tab.
2.
Click Set Precision under Tools in the menu bar. The Set Alignment Precision dialog
box opens.
3.
Adjust Set Precision and Set Grid to the desired levels and click
OK
. The objects snap into
the created grid.

Precision sets the unit used for each grid line.

Grid sets the number of grid lines
