7. Operate
broadcast
spraying system a) Move broadcast lance into the broadcast position
Ensure power to the pump is off, then lift the broadcast lance out of its stored position and click the
lance into its broadcast position.

b) Locate broadcast lance valve
Ensure the valve is in the off position.
Off position
c) Ensure correct spray pattern
Rotate the broadcast nozzle, if needed, so that the spray pattern is pointed down and evenly distributed.
Note: It is not unusual for the
operator to be exposed to chemical
drips while adjusting the broadcast
nozzle. Wear chemical resistant
gloves.
