Cabling
For each universal transmitter, the number
of contacts is limited to 5 and the length of
each connection is 10m (out/return).
●
When using several contacts with one
universal transmitter:
❍
NC type contacts: connect using serial
wiring,
❍
NO type contacts: connect using parallel
wiring.
Verification of the
programming
Control panel in test mode (tamper switch
open):
●
To verify the power: press the detectors
test key and to verify that the test LED lights
to verify the programming of the operating
mode,
●
type of contact and type of sensor:
❍
disconnect the lithium block for 1 minute,
❍
reconnect the lithium block then, within
the following 30 seconds, verify the operat-
ing mode and sensitivity of detection by
pressing successively the “0” and “1” keys
as indicated below:
●
To verify the radio link, the installation
code and the channel (non-supervised
detection) press the test key of the transmit-
ter for at least 2 seconds:
❍
correct: Sharp BEEP and lighting of the LED
corresponding to the selected channel for
that detector (followed by the announcement
of the channel of the detector with the
DP8360 control panel),
❍
incorrect: warning BEEP from the control
panel or no BEEP at all.

to verify the radio link, the installation
code the type and the zone number pro-
grammed (supervised detector with the
DP8360 control panel) press the detectors
test key for at least 2 seconds:
❍
correct: Sharp BEEP followed by the
announcement of the features of the trans-
mitter by the control panel,
❍
incorrect: warning BEEP from the control
panel or no BEEP at all.
Learning
Solely for supervised intrusion transmitters
used with a DP8360 control panel. See the
procedure indicated on the label in the
access cover of the installer compartment
of the control panel.
