Dust Collection Filter
Replace
Replace about every 10 years
About part replacement timing
•
Replacement timing depends on usage patterns and the
location of the unit.
Standard replacement time is about 10 years assuming
that the unit is used daily in a home where 5 cigarettes
are smoked a day. (Calculation in accordance with testing
method of Japan Electrical Manufacturers’ Association
JEM1467 standard)
If the impurity content of the ambient air is high, the filter
will need more frequent replacement.
Replace the dust collection filter if the filter is failing to
perform.

Take out the water tank from the main unit.

Pull out the humidifying tray with
humidifying filter unit on.

Remove the deodorising filter unit.

Move the lever on the deodorising filter unit to
to
unlock it.

Hold the grip at the top of the deodorising filter unit
and lift the part up and out.

Remove the dust collection filter.

Pull the filter

2 Hold the lower part of the dust
collection filter and lift it out.

Attach a new dust collection filter.

If it is hard to install, push the dust collection filter
while installing.

6.
Install the deodorising filter unit into the
main unit.

Attach the deodorising filter unit and move the lever
to
to lock it.

Be sure to lock the deodorising filter unit.
If it is not locked when the unit is operated, the generation of
abnormal noise and reduced performance may result.
7.
Attach the humidifying tray with humidifying
filter unit on.

Put the water tank in.

Attention
Make sure that the dust collection filter and deodorising filter unit are attached to the main unit when the unit is operating.
If these parts are not attached when the unit is operated, malfunction/breakage may result.
