You can adjust the air

 ow direction to increase your comfort.

Adjusting the upper and lower air

fl

 ow direction

To adjust the 

fl

 ap (horizontal blade)

 

Press

Adjusting the right and left air

fl

 ow direction

To adjust the louvers (vertical blades)

 

Hold the knob and move the louvers.

(You will

 nd a knob on the left-side and the right-side blades.)

NOTE

Note on

 ap and louvers angle

 

Unless “SWING” is selected, you should set the 

fl

 ap at a near-horizontal angle in FAN or HEAT 

• 

operation and at a upward position in COOL or DRY operation to obtain the best performance.

 CAUTION

Do not try to adjust the 

fl

 ap by hand.

• 

If the 

fl

 ap is adjusted by hand, the mechanism may not operate properly or condensation may drip from the air outlet. If the 

fl

 ap is adjusted 

without using the remote controller, turn off the unit once, and use the remote controller to restart the unit.
Be careful when adjusting the louvers.  Inside the air outlet, a fan is rotating at a high speed.

While the outdoor unit is not in operation because the indoor temperature becomes higher (or lower) than the set temperature, the

 ap will

come to a stop.
