Remove the top panel. See

Lower the switchbox. See

Remove the tube from the temperature and pressure relief valve that is
located on top of the tank.

Remove the temperature and pressure relief valve from the tank.

Use a drain hose and a pump to drain the tank via the access point.

Tightening torques for installation:
