4.16 Discharge Pipe Temperature Control
Error Code
F3
Method of Error
Detection An error is determined with the temperature detected by the discharge pipe thermistor.
Error Decision
Conditions
„
If the temperature detected by the discharge pipe thermistor rises above A °C, the
compressor stops.
„
The error is cleared when the discharge pipe temperature has dropped below B °C.
„
If the error repeats, the system is shut down.
„
Reset condition: Continuous run for about 60 minutes without any other error

Defective discharge pipe thermistor
(Defective outdoor heat exchanger thermistor or outdoor temperature thermistor)

Defective electronic expansion valve or coil
„
Refrigerant shortage
„
Defective four way valve
„
Water mixed in refrigerant

Defective outdoor unit PCB
