1 General information
1.1 General notes on the manual
and safety
This operating manual (referred to as the “manual”)
forms an integral part of the appliance and must be
read to ensure safe and efficient operation. The
“Safety” section provides information on important
safety measures to protect persons, property, and ma-
terials. The various sections contain warnings/notes re-
lated to the tasks they set out.
This instruction is available in printed form in the follow-
ing languages: German (DE), English (EN), French
(FR), Italian (IT), Spanish (ES) and Portuguese (PT).
The section Safety is available in printed form in all lan-
guages. It does not, however, substitute for reading the
entire instructions. All translations of the complete in-
structions are on the enclosed data carrier and availa-
ble in electronic form on our homepage at
http://www.aht.at.
This manual is intended for use by the following

Qualified staff : AHT service partners, AHT service
engineers, AHT customer service, AHT installation

Personnel : This term is used when the instruction in
question is intended for use by all audiences.

1.2 Disclaimer
All information in this manual has been compiled in ac-
cordance with the standards and legal regulations ap-
plicable at the time it was written, as well as the experi-
ence of the manufacturer and qualified staff. The manu-
facturer assumes no liability for damage to persons,
materials, or property (appliances, goods, etc.) result-
ing from:

non-compliance with the manual and the regula-
tions/safety regulations it contains.

non-compliance with the locally applicable statu-
tory safety regulations.

improper use (misuse).

the use of unauthorised and untrained personnel.

technical modifications not authorised by the manu-
facturer.

changes to factory settings not authorised by the

Non-compliance with the above points will result in the
warranty being voided.
The contractually agreed obligations, the general con-
ditions of sale and delivery of “AHT Cooling Systems
GmbH” (referred to as “AHT”) and, in addition, the
statutory provisions applicable at the time of conclu-
sion of the contract shall apply.
Technical changes and errors reserved.
The local trade and safety regulations/provisions and
fundamental health and safety requirements for the
appliance apply.
2 Safety
2.1 Explanation of symbols
In this manual, safety notices and warnings are indi-
cated by symbols and signal words. Signal words indi-
cate the hazard risk level.
Signal word Meaning
Hazard with medium risk level. May re-
sult in serious injury or death if not
averted.
Hazard with low risk level. May result in
minor or moderate injury if not averted.
Important note on preventing material
or property damage.
Symbol Meaning
General warning
Warning: electrical voltage
Warning: electrical voltage. Do not con-
nect damaged cables to the voltage
supply.
Warning: flammable materials
Warning: slip hazard
Warning: hand injuries
Warning: industrial trucks
Warning: tipping hazard
Warning: falling objects
Warning: hot surface
Warning: low temperature/frost
