PRODUCT DISPOSAL AND MAINTENANCE
PRODUCT MAINTENANCE.
Unplug the electric blanket when you do not intend to use it for an
extended period of time to prolong its shelf-life. Store it in its ori-
ginal packaging in a dry place, trying to fold it as little as possible
and preventing the formation of creases.
Do not cover the electric blanket with other heated elements during
operation. Let it cool down prior to storage.
Do not place any objects on top of the blanket during storage in
order to prevent the formation of creases.
PRODUCT CLEANING.
The electric blanket that you have purchases has a detachable
connection. Always unplug the plug from the socket and remove the
electric blanket from the control connection prior to cleaning the
electric blanket (See Fig. 3.)
The electric blanket can be washed by hand or in a washing
machine, using liquid detergent and selecting the delicate wash
program set to a short cycle. Ensure that your washing machine
can withstand the weight of the electric blanket when it is wet. DO
NOT wash the product with the control attached in order to prevent
damage to the product.

Hang the product horizontally and do not wring or fold during
drying. Do not use in the dryer. Do not use a hair dryer or any other
similar electronic devices.
If it is damp, leave it to dry prior to plugging it into the mains again.
Do not wash this product in a dry cleaners or launderette in order to
ensure its proper operation and prevent any damage.
Electric blankets should never be ironed. Do not place any objects
on top of the blanket during storage in order to prevent the forma-
tion of creases.
In order to prolong the product´s shelf-life and keep it hygienic, do
not lie directly on top of it, ensuring that it is always covered with a
fitted sheet as indicated in the Instructions for Use section of this
manual.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL
Do not dispose of the electric blanket the end of its shelf-life.
Contact the organic collection centre closest to your home in
accordance with the waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE) Directive 2002/96/EC to contribute to the protection of the
environment. Request detailed information regarding their current
methods of disposing of packaging and scrappage of used devices
from your distributor.
