Parameter

Description

Instance Type

A MSTI ID classifies each instance type. CIST refers to the default MSTI configuration
set on the Switch. Click the hyperlink to change the Priority setting for a listed
Instance Type.

Instance Status

The current status of the corresponding MSTI ID is listed in the STP Intance Table.

Instance Priority

The priority of the corresponding MSTI ID. The lowest priority will be the root bridge.
To change the priority setting for an Instance Type, click the corresponding hyperlink
listed under the Instance Type and set the Priority in the Instance ID Settigns menu
(pictured above).
