3.28. Interface

This is a category that groups the following object types.

3.28.1. DefaultInterface

Description

A special interface used to represent internal mechanisms in the system as well as an abstract "any"
interface.

Properties

Name

Specifies a symbolic name for the interface.
(Identifier)

Comments

Text describing the current object. (Optional)

3.28.2. Ethernet

Description

An Ethernet interface represents a logical endpoint for Ethernet traffic.

Properties

Specifies a symbolic name for the interface.

The IP address of the interface.

Network

The network of the interface.

DefaultGateway

The default gateway of the interface. (Optional)

Broadcast

The broadcast address of the connected network.
(Optional)

EnableIPv6

The IP address of the interface.

IPv6Network

The network of the interface.

IPv6DefaultGateway

The default gateway of the interface. (Optional)

PrivateIP

The private IP address of this high availability node.
(Optional)

NOCHB

This will disable sending Cluster Heartbeats from
this interface (used by HA to detect if a node is on-
line and working). (Optional)

MTU

Specifies the size (in bytes) of the largest packet that
can be passed onward. Must be 1294 or larger when
