Disabling CHAP Security
To disable CHAP security:
1.
In the Volume View, click the volume in the Main Display whose CHAP security you want
to disable.
2.
Click the Security tab.
The options in Figure 4-34 appear.
3.
Uncheck Require CHAP Logon Authentication.
4.
Click Apply.

Record your settings in Table C-1.

Viewing or Changing Advanced Settings (Advanced Settings Tab)
When a volume is selected in the Main Display, the Advanced Settings tab lets you view or
change advanced settings for that volume. Figure 4-35 shows the Advanced Settings tab and
Table 4-2 describes the settings that can be modified. Table 4-3 describes the values that
are fixed and cannot be modified.
To change a setting:
1.
In the Volume View, click a volume in the Main Display.
2.
Click the Advanced Settings tab.
The advanced settings are displayed (see Figure 4-35).
3.
In the Value column, perform one of the following steps:
–
If the value is selected from a drop-down list, click in the field and select the
desired value.
–
If the value is entered in the field, double-click in the field and enter the desired
value.
4.
Click Apply.
These settings are for expert users who understand networking concepts
and terminology.
