D-Link DSL-500B User Manual

Installation

Factory Reset

The Router may be reset to the original factory default settings through the following actions.

Press and hold the reset button while the device is powered off using a paper clip or similar object.

Turn on the power and the router will restart. Observe the

Power

LED to verify.

Wait for 5~8 seconds and then release the reset button.

The device settings will be restored to the factory default IP address

192.168.254.254

and the subnet mask is

255.255.255.0

. The default username and password is

admin

and

admin

Note:

A factory reset will erase the current configuration settings and reset them to the default settings.

After restarting your DSL-500B ADSL Router, log in to the router’s web-based interface and use the

Setup Wizard

to configure the basic settings.
