Section 2 - Installation

LAN Sharing Setup

Even without Internet broadband access, you can connect other Wi-Fi devices wirelessly to the DIR-508L by creating a private

network anywhere. You can then connect a USB drive or an SD card to locally share files with these devices on your wireless

network via the SharePort feature.

Note

: In public environments, it is highly recommended to password protect the private LAN on the DIR-508L.
