4.4 Primary Setup

This option is crucial to enable the DI-713 to work properly. The setting items and the
web appearance will change depending on the WAN type you choose. Choose the correct
WAN type before you start.

1.

LAN IP Address

: the DI-713’s IP address. The default address is 192.168.0.1. You

can change it to meet your need.

2.

WAN Type

: WAN connection type of your ISP. You can click the

Change

button to

choose the correct setting from the following four options:

A.

Static IP Address

: your ISP assigns you an IP address.

B.

Dynamic IP Address

: Obtain an IP address from your ISP automatically.

C.

PPP over Ethernet

: Some ISPs require the use of PPPoE to connect to their

services. This requires a Username and Password provided by the ISP.

D.

Dial-up Network

: Connection to the Internet via PSTN/ISDN modem.
