5.3 System memorizer upgrade
5.3.1 SDRAM installing method
If you need disassemle or assemble caused because of upgrading or changing in DI-2621 modulor Routers ,
please act as the following steps :
(1)
Power OFF the router;
(2)
Opening the chassis top following the procedure in the "Openning the chassis "show the main panel of
Router system .
(3)
Find the location of SARAM DIMM slots of DI-2621 modulor Router following the main panel picture
(above ).
(4)
Follow the picture

insert/lift SDRAM shown picture
），
break off the two sides of SDRAM DIMM slots
pinchcock with thumbs equelly (see figure 2).Lift the SDRAM bar uprightly.
Notes:
If fails to dreak off SDRAM slots, check if it is locked by some thing, then try again as the above.
(5)
Insert the new SDRAM bar by sliding the the end with the metal fingers into the SDRAM connector socket
at approximately a 90 angle to the system card .Gentely rock the SDRAM bar into place until the latches on
both sides snap into place.
(6)
Install the chassis according to "Closing chassis "after finishing SDRAM bar installation.
5.3.2 Upgrade FLASH
Flash memory standardd of DI-2621 modulor router is 8Mbyte
，
which can upgrade to 32M as the following steps:
(1)
Power OFF the router;
(2)
Disassemble the router chassis according to the disorder of installing steps to show the main panel ;
(3)
Find the location of SARAM DIMM slots of DI-2621 modulor Router following the main panel picture
(above ).
(4)
If necessary , remove the existing the Flash extended bar.
A. Press the FLASH extended bar down at a 45 degree angle into the slot.
