Windows Networking Basics

Computer Identification
If you had previously given your Windows computers names, you may need to
verify that each computer has a unique name and common workgroup name.
1. On your Desktop, right-click the
Network Places
icon and select
Properties
from the context menu.

Computer description
box is optional. You may enter a description that will
help you identify this computer on your network.
