NAT mode connections:

Transparent mode connections

To connect the DFL-1000 running in Transparent mode:

•

Connect the Internal interface to the hub or switch connected to your internal network.

•

Connect the External Interface to the public switch or router provided by your Internet Service
Provider.

•

Connect the DMZ Interface to your management computer.
You can either connect the DMZ interface directly to the Management computer using a cross-over
cable, or you can connect the DMZ interface and the management computer to a hub or switch.
