disable dnsr

Purpose

Used to disable DNS relay on the Switch.

Syntax

disable dnsr {cache | static}

Description

This command is used, in combination with the

enable dnsr

command

above, to enable and disable DNS Relay on the Switch.

Parameters

cache

– This parameter will allow the user to disable the cache lookup

for the DNS relay on the Switch.

static

– This parameter will allow the user to disable the static table

lookup for the DNS relay on the Switch.

Restrictions

Only Administrator or Operator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To disable status of DNS relay.

DES-3800:admin#disable dnsr

Command: disable dnsr

Success.

Example usage:

To disable cache lookup for DNS relay.

DES-3800:admin#disable dnsr cache

Command: disable dnsr cache
