DSA-3200 Wireless Service Gateway User Manual

5.2 Console Utilities for Network Debugging

The DSA-3200 console interface provides several utilities to assist the Administrator in

controlling the system conditions and to assist with debugging. The utilities are

described as follows:

1. Ping host (IP): By sending ICMP echo request, the on-line condition to a specific

target can be tested.

2. Trace routing path: Trace and inquire the routing path to a specific target.

3. Display interface settings: Displays information of each network interface including

the MAC address, IP address, and Netmask.

4. Display the routing table: The internal routing table of the DSA-3200 is displayed

to assist the confirmation of successful setup of Static Routes on the DSA-3200.

5. Display ARP table: The internal ARP table of the DSA-3200 is displayed.

6. Display system up time: The system live time (time since last system start) of the

DSA-3200 is displayed.
