CDP 1500 BSY+

Clamping protection

In the "CLOSED" position, the drive has adjustable clamping
protection in the closing zone III and II
(see Technical Data). If an overload occurs in these zones,
the drive travels to the "OPEN" position for 10 seconds if
protection is activated. The drive then travels back to the
"CLOSED" position, if closing is not possible after three
attempts, the drive remains in this position. The drive also
has passive protection, meaning the closing speed is
reduced to 5 mm/s in the closing zone II and I. There are still
substantial forces that pose a risk to life and limb.

Significantly greater forces can be exerted at
the secondary closing edges. Danger of
crushing hands and fingers!
