How do I repair or service my vehicle?
Your vehicle comes with total modularity! All components are plug and play and can be
changed with the toolkit provided. They’re easily replaced and we are building all the
resources to educate our drivers on how to maintain and service their vehicles at home.
No more added service charges, or dependencies on the manufacturer! Our mantra is
this:
one person, one tool, 15 minutes! (Relatively all fixes shouldn’t take much longer than
15 minutes to complete, with only one of the tools provided).
Are the batteries removable and/or changeable?
Yes! The batteries are easily removable. You can charge one at your home or office, and
drive with another. Having an extra battery will give you more autonomy! We’ve also
installed a lock key to provide further security for the battery itself.
How many motors does my Dragonfly have?
The DF and the DFX come with two 500W motors, one in each of the front wheels.
What suspension does my DF and DFX have?
There is an adjustable double wishbone hydraulic damped sprung suspension at each of
the 4 wheels of the vehicle. This allows you to personalize your driving experience for
different types of roads and conditions by adjusting the stiffness of the suspension
struts. There’s a tool provided in each of the DF and DFX toolkits as standard.
Does my Dragonflly have lights for night time driving or turn signals for turning?
Yes! Your Dragonfly comes with automotive grade front and rear lighting and rear turn
signals as standard. The DFX also comes with additional turn signals in the handlebars.
These handlebars are an optional extra for DF drivers.
How long should my battery take to charge?
The battery will take 3-7 hours to charge fully. Premium battery cells have been chosen to
extend range and battery life.
What is the spec of the battery?
20 Ah high quality Samsung cells.
What’s the maximum hill ratio it can handle?
Up to 25% is all good!
What is the maximum continuous power?
1650 Kw/h
How does the Dragonfly perform under hot and humid conditions?
A dragonfly is a personal electric vehicle. Its performance is subject to weather
conditions. As with any battery operated personal mobility vehicle, extreme heat, cold
and humidity etc affect performance and can degrade it. Consult the battery section of
our user manual for the proper operating specifications.
