STATIC MODE
A very basic configuration with few units can be driven using
static IP addresses and no other extra devices. Connect the
ALMA control PC in static mode directly to the network and
daisy chain de ARA racks by the use of the intended ethernet
ports of the Matrix-66:
A more complex situation with bigger equipment will need a
switch to split the network. One ethernet switch to distribute
ALMA control to left and right ARA-RACKs. The Racks on each
side can be daisy chained using the ETH/CTRL connectors of
the Matrix-66:
*Note: The control computer shall be configured properly on
Static IP mode with an IP Address in the same range of the
ones used in the systems.
