4.3 PRE STRETCH & FILM TENSION
4.4 ADJUSTMENT OF HEIGHT PHOTO CELL
X
-
[
should not need to be adjusted, the machine is set to max
height and min height.
It is recommended that the photoelectric cell is placed as high as
possible.
The photoelectric cell (
X
) which normally stops the unit elevator at
the top edge of the pallet goods, can be adjusted vertically by rst
undoing the knob (
Y
) and then setting the new height.
The lower it sits, the higher the stop position of the elevator. The
upper edge of the lm is normally approx. 2-5 cm above the pallet
goods.
Fixed elevator stop position up and down.
The upward and downward movement of the elevator is restricted by
the upper and lower stop lugs, both of which are adjustable on the
mast. The gure on the left shows the lower stop lug (
Z
). Adjusting
this allows you to determine how far down the lm is to cover the
pallet/goods. The upper stop button (
[
) can be lowered if you just
want to apply lm to the lower part of the pallet, when photoelectric
cell adjustment is insuf cient.
Must not be adjusted too
high or too low so that the
elevator "collides" before the
sensor senses the lug.
4.5 START THE MACHINE
Press the start button to start the lm cycle. The table will start to rotate and the machine will run the pre set lm pro-
gram.
Do not stand too near the
rotary table with goods when
wrapping as poorly stacked
goods may fall down from the
pallet.
Pre stretch
The aggregate is equipped with a xed pre stretch of 6%.
Film tension
The machine is equipped with a mechanical brake for achieving the
right lm tension between the aggregate and the good on the pallet.
The lm tension can be adjustad at any time during the lm cycle.
INCREASE
Turn the break knob clockwise
DECREASE
Turn the break knob counter clockwise
If not enough lm tension can not be reached, the brake belt may
be worn out.
CAUTION!
When the pallet is touching the table,
it must not be pushed in any direction.
Damage to motor/gear box may occur.
