Base Unit

Message W aiting / New Call Light / In-Use Indicator

(a) Flash when ringing, or if you have m essage in your voicem ail or new Caller ID in Call

Log.

(b) Light whenever this phone, or any other telephone on the line, is being used.

Speakerphone Light

Light when speakerphone is in use.

Charge Light

Light when handset is on the cradle and being charged.

Spare Battery Light

Light when the spare battery is in the charging com partm ent.

Dial Pad

The num eric keys are used in the conventional m anner for dialling.

Speakerphone Key

Press to turn on the speakerphone and also dial the number on the display.

Up / Down Keys [▼] / [▲]

(a) W hile on a call, press [▼ ] or [▲ ] to adjust the volum e.

(b) During standby, press [▼ ] or [▲ ] to scroll through Menu options; access Caller ID

Records, Phonebook Directory Records and Redial List.

Dial 7 / Mute Key

(a) W hile reviewing the Call ID Record, press [Dial 7] to dial a Call Back in 7-digit format.

(b) W hile on a call, press [Mute] to m ute the m icrophone for privacy.
