. The
CLOCK SETTING screen appears with the
following options.

Clock Settings
- Set the time. This setting will
show AM or PM if the Hour Mode is set to 12HR.

Date Settings
- Set the date. Use 2-digit year
format.

Hour Mode
- 12HR or 24HR. 12HR mode is the
normal time system used in the USA, relying on
the use of AM /PM to indicate night or day. In
24HR mode, the AM/PM designation is not used,
with 12:00 indicating noon time and 24:00
indicating midnight.

Notice that UP/DOWN ARROW symbols appear on
the TOP/BOTTOM of a field in edit mode. Use the

keys to increase or decrease the value of the
field and press
ENTER
to confirm. Alternatively, you
can use the
NUMBER
keys to enter a time or date
value directly.

keys to choose a field to
change and then press
ENTER
to enable editing for
that field.

When the unit is first powered on, you'll be prompted to
set the time and date as well as TV Tuner options. You
can change any of the settings you choose during the
Initial Setup later in the recorder's SETUP MENU.
Press
SETUP
to exit. The Initial Setup is now
complete. Remember, any settings chosen during
the Initial Setup can be changed later in the DVD
Recorder's SETUP MENU.
