Power
Derating:
The Parvus power supply is capable of supplying up to 100 watts of additional power to the
expansion rings via the PCIe Bus connectors. The maximum amount of current available is derated
based on temperature. The internal voltage regulators are mounted to the chassis to maximize heat
dissipation so the chassis temperature is used as a baseline for the derating data. The figures below
show the available current based on chassis temperature.
