14. Connect the board to J13 or J14 using your custom cable.

15. Connect the modules together.

Basic Operating Procedures

This section describes basic operating procedures, including the power-on sequence, running the BIOS
configuration program, using SSDs, and zeroizing the system.

Power-on Sequence (using Lab Cableset)

16. Make sure all devices are powered off.

17. Connect CPU-A CBL-2498 to J11 on the CPU module. Connect the monitor, keyboard, and mouse

to the corresponding connectors on CBL-2498. Connect any serial devices, audio, and DVI/HDMI
devices.

18. Connect CPU-B CBL-2499 to J12 on the CPU module. Connect USB and I/O devices.

19. If you want to boot from the SSD drive, insert the SSD (see "Using SSDs").

20. Connect the power cable (CBL-2500) or a customer-designed power cable to connector J1 on the

power supply module and to a 12-35V power source.
