5.4.  Feed Line Settings

This section shows how to specify the loca-
tion of each feed line and how to select the
timer they are using. Note that each auger
and each feed line operates in timer mode.
These outputs can either use individual time
clocks or they can share common timers. Re-
fer to section 6.2.3 to program the timer.

Worksheets  are provided at the end of
this  manual  to  write  down  your  time
clock & relay settings.

1.  From the main menu, select:

»   7. Installation*

»   5. Feed Line Set.

»    x. Select the desired feed line

*This  menu  is  only  accessible  from  the  installer

mode (see sec. 5.2).

Relay

:     5

Clock:

:     3

2.  Set the following parameters:

Relay  —

Specify  which  relay  the  feed  line

uses.

Clock —

Specify which time clock the feed

line uses. *

This parameter is available if the "Clock

Schedule"  option  is  disabled  in  the  Installation

Settings (see section 5.3). If this option is enabled,

time clocks must be assigned separately for each

day of the week. Refer to section 6.2.1 to make this

assignment.

3.  Proceed in similar fashion to assign a relay
and a time clock to all feed lines.

5.5.  Bin Settings

This section shows how to set the low feed
level of each bin.  The controller sounds an
alarm  when  the  feed  level  gets  lower  than
this limit.

1.  From the main menu, select:

»   7. Installation*

»   3. Bin Settings

»    x. Select the desired bin

*This  menu  is  only  accessible  from  the  installer

mode (see sec. 5.2).

7.3.1 Bin 1 Settings
Low level

13 kg

Fill Del

 5 min

2.  Set the following parameters:

Low Level —

Set the feed level below which

an alarm sets off. You can also disable this
alarm condition by decreasing the parameter
value to "None"

Fill  Delay  —

A  feed  delivery  is  likely  to  be

composed of multiple and successive dumps.
The fill delay allows the controller to combine
the weight of all feed dumps in a single fill-
ing value. The fill delay actually represents
the  time  allowed  between  two  dumps  for
the controller to consider both dumps as be-
ing part of the same filling. The Fill Delay is
launched at the end of each dump. Set it to
the desired value.

Note  that  the  augers  of  the  bin  that
is  being  filled  are  stopped  during  the
filling process and until the end of the
fill delay.
