8. Attach the Outside Fan Guard
8.1
36”, 48”, 52” and 54” Fan PVC-Coated Guard Assembly
For the 36” and 52” Fans, install the Outside Fan Guard using four 3/8-16 x 1-1/4” bolts and nuts and washers. See
Figure 18 . See Figure 19 below for the 48” Fan Guard assembly which must use a longer bolt with spacer.
8.2
54” Fan Guard Assembly
For the 54” Fans, install the Outside Fan Guard using 5/16-18 x 1” bolts and nuts. See
Figure 20.
NOTES: Use eight bolts for collapsed cone version OR six for the uncollapsed cone version.
Guard must be cut to fit when collapsing the cone.
