(8) Pressure Ramping –

Select On or Off to enable or disable pressure ramping.

(9 & 10) Target Press. @ High Temp -

The target pressure when the outside temperature is at the high

temperature limit.  Set both pressure and temperature limit.

(11 & 12) Target Press. @ Low Temp

 -

The target pressure when the outside temperature is at the low

temperature limit.  Set both pressure & temperature limit.

(13 & 14) Attic Pressure

 – When the Attic Inlets Installed = “Yes” and the conditions allow the Attic Inlets to

be enabled, the target pressure will be the selected pressure when the outside temperature is at the selected
temperature.  Set both pressure & temperature.  For the controller to allow enabling of the Attic Inlets, first,
the controller must be in Minimum Vent Mode; second, the Attic Inlets become active when either the
Outside Temperature is less than the selected Attic Outside Temperature OR any Heat Stage is activated.
The Attic Inlets will remain active until the averaged house temperature reaches the selected Tunnel Off-
Point Temperature.  After the Tunnel Off-Point Temperature is reached, the Attic Inlets will be disabled and
remain disabled until any Heat Stage is activated.

NOTE:

There are now four inlets:  Attic, Sidewall, Tunnel and Tunnel2.  Attic and Tunnel2 are optional.

Refer to the diagram in

Section 9.1

for connection locations.   Attic can be used in the place of U1

Natural and/or Tunnel2 can be used in the place of U2 Natural.  The attic vents are able to blend with
the other inlets if too many fans turn on to the point that the attic inlets are all the way open.  For
example, if we assume that all inlets are available, the controller will start by using the Attic Inlets.  If
enough fans turn on that the Attic Inlets are fully open, the static pressure will be greater than the
target.  A timer will start at this point.  If conditions stay like this for more than a minute, the
controller will start allowing the sidewall inlets.  This same procedure will continue as more fans turn
on until the sidewall inlets are fully open and then it would start blending the tunnel inlet and etc.  The
same process happens as fans turn off and the vents become fully closed.  If the static pressure stays
below the target for more than a minute, then the controller will shift down to the previous inlet until it
gets down to the lowest level which would be the Attic, if enabled.

7.5

Natural Ventilation

Natural Ventilation options are:

(1) Target Temperature –

Displays the existing
Target Temperature.

(2) Allow Natural Ventilation –

Yes or No.  This must be
set to yes before the
control is allowed to enter
into natural ventilation.

(3) Current –

This is the value

currently being used
derived from the cool and
warm settings.

(4) Cool –

The desired operational settings for a cooler outside temperature.

(5) Warm –

The desired operational settings for warm outside conditions which would be very near the

target temperature.

(6) Temp Diff (In-Out) –

The Temperature Differential which is the inside target minus the outside

temperature.

(7) Cycle Time –

The length of time in minutes between the start of one curtain position adjustment, and

the start of the next curtain position adjustment. ( A Cycle time of 3 means that the curtain will
move up or down, or remain stationary, depending upon temperature for its runtime once every 3
minutes).

(8) Initial Drop Delay –

The number of cycles that the curtain will be delayed after the Initial Drop.

(9) Initial Run Time –

When the controller determines that the curtains should run open and senses that

they are closed, it uses this parameter for the 'first' run.  This setting is used to allow the curtains to
open enough on the first run to guarantee adequate ventilation.

(10) Open Run Time –

Period of time the curtain will run open each cycle.

(11) Close Run Time –

Period of time the curtain will run close each cycle.

(12) Aggressive Range –

If this Temperature limit is exceeded, the run times of the stages are doubled.
