The LED above the safety lock button will light to indicate that the
safety lock feature has been activated.
o
When the safety lock has been switched on, it will disable any of the
other buttons on the control panel, apart from the safety lock button
(3) .
o
To disable the safety lock feature, you should press the safety lock
button (3) again for 3 seconds. The safety lock LED will disappear
from the control panel (6) and you are then able to adjust the power
of any zone on the hob top.
The hob timer
Your hob has a countdown timer which will countdown a period
of time between 1 and 99 minutes. At the end of the countdown
period the corresponding heating zone will turn off. The hob
can be set the timer for each zone in the same
time
o
Press the cooking zone selection button (6) of the working zone
that you want to set the timer,the LED display will be blinking.
o
Press the timer button (9) . The timer display (6) will begin to flash.
o
Use the timer minus (10) and plus buttons (11) to set the
countdown time.
o
The timer display (8) will show the countdown time that is set.
When you are happy with the time you have set, release all
buttons. After 5 seconds time will be set, the timer display (8) will
stop flashing and the countdown will begin.
o
The zone timer activated LED (7) will light in the zone display (8)
of the cooking zone which the timer has been set.
o
If the set time exceeds 99 minutes, the timer display will return to
showing 1.
o
After you set a timer,the zone LED display will show the countdown
time and the zone power level in turn for 3 secs.
o
To cancel the timer, press the corresponding cooking
zone selection button – and the zone LED display (8) will
flash. Then press the timer button again and it will deactivate the
timer. Thezone timer activated LED (7) will go out.
