During Use
Warning
Never use the appliance without the inner
pot.
It may cause electric shock or fire.
Do not touch the inside of the inner pot,
the pressure cap, the clean cover, etc., as
they are hot during or just after cooking.
Do not use a deformed inner pot. Only
use a dedicated inner pot.
If you have added rice or
water to the rice cooker
without the inner pot
in place, have the unit
inspected by the service
center right away.
Check the
inner pot!!
It may cause burns due
to high temperature.
The pressure cap may
become tilted and cause
burns by discharge of
vapor.
The inner pot may
overheat and cause fire.
If the inner pot has been
deformed or dropped,
contact A/S customer
service center.
Do not place decorative covers, cloths, or
other objects on the lid.
Never place foreign objects such as a
metallic bar inside the product.
Do not unplug the cooker or press other
control buttons while cooking is in progress.
It may cause explosion
due to fire, deformation
or pressure.
It may cause electric
shock or fire. (Especially,
be extra-cautious with
children)
It may cause the
product to malfunction.
Do not place your face or hands near the
rice cooker’s steam vent during or just
after cooking.
It may cause burns due to
high temperature steam.
In particular, keep the
product away from children.
Do not place the inner pot on a gas range
or IH range, or anywhere else other than
the specified product, and do not use it
for other purposes.
Do not turn the lid handle in the open
direction or press the lid release button
while cooking.
There is a risk of fire or bodily injury.
The lid does not open due to pressure while
cooking.
When the lid is opened forcefully, there is a
danger of explosion and burns due to pressure.
Turn the lid knob only after cooking is finished
and steam discharging is complete.
When in a situation where the lid should be
opened inevitably while cooking, press the
[CANCEL] button for about 1 second, then
open it after the internal pressure has been
completely removed.
Discoloration or deformation of the inner pot
may cause the product to malfunction.
Do not use ingredients such as mixed
grain to an amount that exceeds the
appropriate proportion provided in the
cooking instructions.
It can be a cause of bodily injuries or product
malfunctions.
Caution
Contact the service center if
the inner pot’s coating has
been damaged or peeled.
The inner pot’s coating may
come off after a long use. Also,
cleaning the inner pot with a
rough or metallic scrubber can
peel the coating. Use a neutral
detergent and a sponge only.
Do not fill the inner pot over
the maximum limit.
The rice may not be cooked
properly or it can lead to water
spilling over while cooking.
Do not place magnetic
objects on top of the lid or
use the rice cooker in the
vicinity of highly magnetic
objects.
It may cause the product to
malfunction.
Remove the collected water
from inside the cooker after
each use.
Otherwise, it may cause
discoloration or odors or lower
product performance.
Wipe off any
water remainin
g in the water
collector of
the unit.
Securely close the lid before
cooking or warming.
Otherwise, it may cause
discoloration or odors or lower
product performance.
Frequently wash and clean
the inner pot, pressure
packing, clean cover packing,
and clean cover. (12 ~ 17
pages)
It may cause bad smell or lower
the product's
performance.
In the event of a power outage
while cooking, there is a risk
that the steam discharging
device will operate and spew
out the contents.
Cook with the steam cap
attached.
Only use the product for
purposes of cooking rice,
warming, and making other
designated menu items. Do not
use it to boil water or to cook
sikhae (fermented fish with
grains), sea mustard soup, curry
and rice, or other fried dishes.
