9.5.2
GENERAL
This supplement must be attached to the Pilot’s
Operating Handbook when an additional switch is added
to the aft control stick to operate the Two-Switch Elevator
Trim
System. The information contained herein
supplements or supersedes the basic Pilot’s Operating
Handbook only in those areas listed in this supplement.
For limitations, procedures and performance information
not contained in this supplement, consult section 2 of this
Pilot’s Operating Handbook and FAA Approved Airplane
Flight Manual.
This supplement must remain in the handbook at all
times when the Two-Switch Elevator Trim System is
installed.
9.5.2.1 DESCRIPTION
The Two-Switch Elevator Trim System consists of the
following controls:
•
A trim switch on top of the pilot’s control stick
•
A trim switch on top of the aft occupants control
stick (Figure 1)
•
A trim selector switch located on the left wing root
panel between the forward and aft seats (Figure
2)
The elevator trim may be actuated from the front or the
aft seat. If both switches are operated at the same time,
priority will be assigned depending on the position of the
selector switch.
