AUTOMATIC LASER CONTROL GRADING
AUTOMATIC LASER CONTROL GRADING
The CSS MLGFM2000-2400 graders will work with the majority of laser systems on the market that are compatible with a proportional
valve system (the alternative is a solenoid valve - known as a bang bang valve) which generally is not as accurate or smooth as the
proportional valve systems. The Futtura Laser EG2 kit is a cost effective quality dual grade system accurate to or - 2mm
A separate instruction manual is included with the kit -
PLEASE READ BEFORE USE.
Set the blade on the ground a the average surface depth switch on the control box and set on AUTO (lights on)
After setting up the laser transmitter (dual grade) on the tripod (not included) within 50 metres of the Grader - the height of the
transmitter should be above the cab frame of the loader for a clear view of the two receivers mounted on the poles on the grader - the
height of the poles can be easily changed by slackening off the clamp bolt and lifting the poles until you are at the correct beam height
- when the green band lights up on both receivers - tighten clamp bolt.
You are now ready to proceed in AUTO Grading - the blade will remain at this height - to vary the blade depth - from the loader seat -
you can adjust the auto blade height up or down 54mm (2”) by adjusting the grade offset knobs left and right handed (see photo 12)
It is advisable to adjust the grade offset knobs in small steps so as not to overload the blade -
Continue working in a sequence taking the high areas into the low areas. The grader can be used in a forward and reverse direction -
however we recommend you only trim the surface in reverse so as not too encroach on the wheel movement.
