Hole diameter 6 × 42 mm or
7 × 42 mm drilled using the
HEA-BB4 (-BB5) Stop-drill-bit.
Clean any dust etc. out of the
drilled hole.

2. If supplied seperately, fi rst slide
the expansion sleeve on the
HEA Anchor rod as shown in
the drawing.
Insert the HEA Cavity wall tie with
the expansion sleeve in place into
the drilled hole.
3. Using a hammer and the
HEA-EW4 (-EW5) Insertion tool,
drive the expansion sleeve into
the drill hole until the end of
the sleeve is fl ush with the
concrete surface.

wall tie to an angle of 90° and ...
