IMPORTANT:  Read  this  entire  manual  before  attempting  to 
install, operate or perform any maintenance on your Ultrasonic 
Cleaning  System.  Ensure  all  appropriate  personnel  understand 
the contents of this manual. 

This operating manual contains important information on proper use 
and  maintenance  of  the  ultrasonic  cleaning  system. 

All  personnel 

involved  in  the  use  and  maintenance  of  this  equipment  must 
carefully  review  and  comply  with  the  warnings,  cautions  and 
instructions contains in this manual. 

These  instructions  are  important  to  protect  the  health  and  safety  of 
personnel operating the cleaner should be retained in a conveniently 
accessible area for quick reference. 

Complete instructions for uncrating have been furnished. If missing, 
contact  Crest  Ultrasonics  for  a  replacement  copy,  giving  the  serial, 
equipment, and model numbers of the unit. 

Crest carries a complete line of accessories for use with these units. 
Crest representatives will gladly review these with you.

Any  alteration  of  the  cleaner  not  authorized  or  performed  by  Crest 
will  void  the  warranty,  could  adversely  affect  operator  safety  and 
could violate national, state or local regulations. 

Indications for Use

 

The Ultrasonic Cleaning System is designed to thoroughly wash 
(remove tissue, blood, and other contaminants) instruments prior to 
final disinfection and sterilization as required. The Ultrasonic 
Cleaning System’s compact design makes it suitable for use in the 
Operating Room, Central Supply, or other high-volume areas to 
process per-cleaned instruments. 

IMPORTANT: Check the occupational health and safety act, as well 
as local electric and plumbing codes, for any specific requirements 
that may pertain to installation of this unit. 

To help ensure operators are adequately trained in the safe use of 
the equipment, Crest recommends: 

All personnel operating or maintaining the Ultrasonic Cleaning 
System are fully trained in equipment operation and safe use. 
Personnel working with toxic chemicals and vapors (if applicable) 
have comprehensive instructions in the washing process, relevant 
health hazards and methods to detect the escape of toxic materials.
