3.1 Before Operating
This Equipment
Before operating the Ultrasonic Cleaning System, it is important to
become familiar with controls, their functions and options available
(see

ECTION
3.2, C
ONTROLS AND

NDICATORS
). Read this section
carefully and refer back to it when selecting cycle phases and setting
cycle operations. Also note the following:
• Although the ultrasonic tank is constructed to withstand impact,
operators should avoid dropping the instrument tray or individual
items on the work platform or the tank bottom.
Never place any body part inside the Ultrasonic Cleaning System
during operation.
Ensure Ultrasonic Cleaning System is installed properly (see

WARNING – EXPLOSION
HAZARD: Use only water or
water-detergent mix in
cleaning chamber. Never use
flammable solvents. Fire or
explosion could result.
WARNING – PINCHING
HAZARD: Pinch point is
created during lid articulation.
Keep hands clear when
opening or closing the lid
.
CAUTION – POSSIBLE
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE:
• Never use CLEANING
Chamber as a sink. Under
no circumstances should
waste water be poured into
either chamber as water
could overflow drain and
damage delicate
components
.
• Never drop or rest parts
directly on chamber bottom
or on top of immersible
transducers.
• Never scratch chamber
walls or transducers. This
can increase cavitation
erosion.
